It sucks right, knowing the person you like doesn’t look at you the way you look at them. Its like all this invested time and effort went to waste, and now what, you’re left here to pick up the pieces and start all over again. I guess deep in your mind though you have this little spec of hope, hope that days, weeks, maybe months from now that person will come up to you, message you, call you and tell you they made a huge mistake. That they realized that they finally want to take a chance with you, because they see all the potential you 2 could have. Yeah, I know while you read this you just did a play by play scenario in your mind of what that would look and feel like. But what happens if that never comes around… What happens if you get better, someone better. What happens if someone who is doing all the right things, but at the wrong time walks into you life comes around, then what?

It sucks right, you have this perfect person right in front of you. To talk to you, cater to you, and take you home at night if you had too much to drink. This perfect person, who remembers all your favorite things, and wants to talk to you, but not smother you. This perfect person who’s first thought in the morning is to make sure to tell you that they hope today will be a better day for you, cuz they could care less bout their own personal needs. This perfect person, who in fact is at the same time the same person you don’t want to make time in your life for. Because this person, this perfect person, isn’t the one you spend those last few moments before you sleep thinking about. In fact the person you spend your nights thinking about is the same person who probably isn’t thinking about you at all.

It sucks right, because at the end of the day no one is winning. Everyone is fighting, fighting for someone’s attention, but no one’s receiving. And at the end of the day, you’ll still be sitting here wanting someone who doesn’t want you, while your perfect person is dying for you to realize they could everything you wanted and more.
